Library and recommended Reading

There are some great titles out there, to help us and educate more about writing and its effect on society, not to mention the pleasure we get from doing such a worthy process. Everything we write can be there for eternity, for the whole world to read, share, enjoy and research even in centuries to come

The Books We Read

the idea of the library section is not to sell you books, but to recommend or share good experiences with the reads we have enjoyed, that have helped us in our quest to be better writers. Every now and again we will add to the library our readers recommend what is good and what is not. of course this is a personal thing, so not every book will be for everyone.

There are also the standards, that you me and many others have read, to bring us up to speed with our writing skills. We know what they are, but those just starting out. may yet not know the recommended reading titles that will kick start their writing pastime or even career. So over the next few months, watch out as we add to this library, hopefully showing titles you have not seen before or considered.

Sometimes we find the hardest books to write are based around describing how to do something rather than fiction stuff. Take the subject of DIY. Explaining in your own words may not be enough to explain how to fit that composite door. Any writing skill should be adaptable to suit that DIY person, actually fitting composite doors. They need to understand all the process, without any of the emotion that sometimes we writers pout into our writing.

How We Write

Writing is a very personal thing, I for example write what I say, so the vocabulary is not so good, nor the spelling sometimes. I believe i communicate my feelings and thoughts better that way, even though I am continually criticized by more educated individuals than myself. I keep reminding them of LS. Lowry and his matchstick men paintings and how they inspired others, worth considerable amount of money, but do not show the true human form like a true portrait painter. I know, most of you, paint better pictures in terms of quality, i just like to show what I mean, in my heart and head. The pint is, i don't believe there is any right or wrong when it comes to writing. if you mean what you say, then it is right, no matter how bad the spelling, vocabulary or meaning.

So the book library that we will create, will cover as much as possible, good writing and different..
